Bio
I once shot the Queen Mother. I've also shot prime ministers and assorted celebrities. Of course - I did my shooting with a camera. In a "past life" - aka my younger days - I was a reporter/editor/photojournalist. One of the things they taught us that telling a story effectively requires you to "show" the reader what is happening - not just "tell" the facts. Taking this concept forward, I now write songs - mainly revolving around "loss and redemption." My solo music is acoustic guitar driven singer/songwriter pieces with strong influences from pre and post war fingerstyle blues as well as jazz and rock. My music has been described as "Blue Rodeo meets the Eagles crossed with Bruce Cockburn."
