At UAR we trying to create a new paradigm. We want everyone to be able to bring passion to their work and to be doing what they love. We are a small team and realize that we can't cover all of Canada, nor are we familiar with every local scene. We want to present an authentic Canadian voice, which we realize is diverse. We welcome your input.
This site was developed with the intention of helping Canadian musicians get their music directly to their fans, encouraging live music performance and helping small amazing venues and festivals find great talent. We are trying to make a difference on the Canadian music scene. By giving artists and venues as many tools as possible, we hope to make their jobs easier so they can spend more time doing what they love.
